SHIPPING & RETURNS

Shipping Policy

Custom orders:  Being a small, start-up business, we may not have every crystal / bead / stone color in stock.  Therefore, please allow 10-14 business days for the production of your custom browband or dog collar, in addition to the shipping speed you select at checkout.  We will do everything possible to make and ship your custom order as quickly as we can.  NOTE:  If you select the option to proof & approve your order via email, this could add additional processing time, depending on how quick you respond to the email request.

Ready-to-wear / Non-custom orders:  These will be ready to ship within 24-48 hrs from when the order was placed.

 

All U.S. orders will ship USPS First Class Mail (2-6 business days), unless another postage type is selected at checkout.

 

Int'l shipping to anywhere outside of the U.S. can possibly take 2-3 weeks or longer. It is out of our control how long it may take for a package to clear customs.  *Int'l Buyers are responsible for any duties, import fees or custom charges that may be incurred at the country of destination.

Return & Exchange Policy

  • Due to the personalized nature, we are unable to offer a full refund for custom-made products. 

  • To ensure your satisfaction, during the ordering process you can choose to receive an email proof of your order before the product is finalized. We highly recommend this, although it's not required.

  • For custom browbands only, we will provide an exchange if a different size browband is needed, and within 14 days from the date your initial order was received, but, we'd really like you to be happy the first time around.  Therefore, please contact us with any sizing questions you may have, especially after reading the 'Sizing How-to's' section about browband measurements. 

  • For ready-to-wear (non-custom) products, we offer returns within 14 days from the date your initial order was received.  

  • Please email us at info@blackdogleatherworks.com or submit a 'Contact' request, and we'll provide you with a return mailing address.

  • You will be liable to cover the return postage fee.

  • For exchanges, we will mail your exchanged item to you for free/no add'l cost, once the returned item is received.  Please note that the processing time to create a new custom browband might be the same as the original order timeframe. 

  • We strongly advise using tracking and/or insurance when returning items, as we will not be responsible for any lost returns.
